Old becomes new, a look back at previous redesigns.

If you’ve been playing EvE for a while, you’ve already experienced one or two in-game changes.

Be it the expansion Trinity or the subsequent improvements of graphics or models.

In the context of a small series I would dedicate myself mainly to the ship models and their redesign.

Some ships of all Empire factions have already received a small update. They become more modern and look nicer.

Many ships are from the design also already neatly come into the years.

I took a closer look at the Shiptree and picked out the ships.

So far, the Caldari have benefited the most and received by far the most updates. And this was not surprising.

The other factions are all relatively equal.
In the next few weeks I would like to take a closer look at these redesigns and compare them briefly between old and new.

For now, I’m deliberately only addressing the T1 variants. The Faction and T2 variants based on these models got the same model, except for a few small adjustments and special features.

The only T2 ships that stand out are clearly the stealth bombers. These have undergone a significant change without touching the base model.

Therefore already a small list for overview and hope that this is also complete:

Caldari:
Ibis
Bantam
Condor
Griffin
Cormarant
Osprey
Caracal
Moa
Blackbird
Raven
Tayra (Badger Mk2)
Badger
Scorpion

Amarr:
Crucifier
Executioner
Maller
Augoror
Apocalypse
Avatar

Gall duck:
Velator
Maulus
Navitas
Dominix
Megathron

Minmatar:
Stabber
Rupture
Cyclone
Typhoon
Tempest

Ore:
Procurer
Covetor
Hulk

To be complete, Concord’s three possible ships should also be mentioned here. These, of course, can also be flown and are available through Project Discovery.

To be counted here:

Pacifier
Enforcer
Marshall

The former also has a civilian variant which of course uses the same model. The Pacifier itself should also be in my hangar soon.
