EvE and the NullPolicy… A good timing

It is currently going on in Nullspace, especially in our home is called.
As you surely know we left AoM around the turn of the year and switched to Pandamic Horde.

What follows now is my personal impression and how I experienced or understood something.

In the meantime this has turned out to be a damn good timing, when we will have a closer look or a look at the area.

But once again slowly and in a relaxed order.
AOM has its origins on the Chinese server Serenity and is in a very good position there with the corresponding offshoot PIBC.
This has there felt the unrestricted rule, on TQ it looks a little different.
But also here the rivalry with Fraternity is very pronounced, which also form the counter-position on Serenity under a different name, but do not have the same influence there as here.

In other words the war was indirectly transferred to TQ to destroy the respective opposing side there as well.
There is an interesting video about this from Rooks and Kings:

On TQ, nothing works without other time zones, so allies were needed in this war and they were found.
The PIBC exists here as a coalition of several alliances, among others EVICTUS with a strong EU time zone, while AOM e.g. in the other time zones like the CN/AU time zone can bring a high number of pilots on Felds.

Also in the closer environment AOM had to prevail and had the big advantage to be able to put the timers for the single stations in the strongest zone, but also to be able to protect stations where the timer was in the EU.
However, during December it became clear that EVICTUS would not continue to exist as it currently did and some corps would leave the alliance, either to join an existing other or to start a new one.

This of course weakened the EU time zone enormously, where among our stations also held the timer and we had to consider how to deal with this.
At the same time, the pressure in the EU time zone became greater and greater due to the attacking fleets, as they like to exploit this weakness.
Another important point was that the Empire had an eye on the region and wanted to expand. Not only with territories but also with pilots and so the call came to join the Empire or fall.

Due to the extremely weakened and barely existing pilots and the situation of an attack, it was relatively clear for Killtronic, no matter what we do, it would be a situation we did not want to deal with.
Neither a war where the EU time zone does not exist on our side, nor a life in the Empire were an alternative for us, so we decided to leave.

Of course, we continued to follow what was happening in our old territory.

AoM lost more and more possibilities and Fraternity also called fittingly for the big war and the final destruction of AoM, so that it came among other things a larger attack on the home system R-ARKN.

The Keepstar could be defended accordingly in the Armor timer, because it was in the appropriate time zone.
At the same time, however, AoM was already indirectly history, since the plan was already forged to abandon AoM.
The idea behind it was to switch to the “Ranger Regiment” with a corresponding number of corps.
These were part of the empire and therefore both sides could be strengthened.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with this plan. It was secret and not agreed upon.
For both alliances this had a corresponding consequence, so that these were banished on the empire and are no longer a member of the same.

In retrospect, this was an understandable but strategically unfortunate decision.
Empire indirectly deprived itself of the strong CN/AU time zone that allowed it to compete with Fraternity there.

In the meantime, most IHUBs have already changed hands and it looks like a patchwork quilt. Soon Sovereignty should follow.

This all happened relatively quickly and I’m very glad that our CEO had damn good timing and we didn’t end up in this situation in advance.

So our old home is finally stories and has found new owners. It’s only a matter of time before Esoteria has a new color.
A bit wistful that RHP of all people is taking over our old system. Can someone please throw them out of it? Our moons don’t deserve that.

But we will continue to watch from the Horde how it develops and now we want to build up ourselves, strengthen and look for an appropriate home system from which we want to operate within the Horde.
In the sense. Fly Save.
