This month eXeler0n has chosen a topic. Who is my personal EvE Online Influencer?
A relatively difficult and interesting question that I would like to answer slightly rephrased.
The key question here for me is, who influences your game, the way you play, and the experiences you have in EvE. The answer here is primarily, everyone with whom I have more intensive contact.
Be it as an example my blogger colleagues like Barkkor, eXeler0n or Jezaja, but also streamers like Erstschlag which I like to follow. But also in the early days my corp colleagues like Dragonet Xian or Lorum Kan. If you are reading this. Come back you bags :).
I am currently a lot or almost exclusively alone on the road in EvE and therefore I like to use other bloggers that you read or look at to get new ideas for activities or but ideas on how to implement them. I think even as a veteran you live in your own bubble from which you often do not come out. That’s why I like to use other content creators to look beyond my own nose and find out what other activities there are in EvE that haven’t been tried yet.
As I said, I use some here as a source or inspiration for what I do in EvE. Very interesting for me are therefore especially Erstschlag, who is very much in the PVE content on the road and also regularly shows different aspects. But not only this is important to me here, but I can also look off one or the other fitting for things I already do regularly. So my Draugur is based on his crap as well as my Loki for the current Capsuleer Day Event. Of course always a little bit adapted to my needs. There are always fresh ideas coming in and he puts a lot of thought into what he wants to show and how he shows it. Personally, I find him to be a very creative head. The only downer is that he does his streams in English. But I’m happy to overlook that.
But also as I said blogger colleagues have a certain influence on me. I could now name relatively many here, since there were a large number of us in my active time, especially at the beginning of my blog.
Personally, I read especially the blogs very much and therefore I’m always happy from Neo, Jezaja, eXe or Barkkor what comes new and you learn exciting from their EvE life and every post and every story told influences each of us.
