Finally we can play EvE in Excel too….

I must honestly admit that I have neglected EvE the last few days. Okay, only indirectly, because at the moment I’m busy with the recently released beta for the EvE addin in Excel.
Finally playing EvE in Excel and not Excel in Space…

Also something else and there I have now used the time to look once in how far my previous price calculations are also possible here.
For this purpose, the addin addresses div. endpoints and makes the data available here. Be it character data, blueprint or market information.

So we can query the individual information relatively simply by command.
So example serves here once =EVEONLINE.BLUEPRINT(683) which returns us the Blueprint for a Bantam.
This entry allows to select all possible and needed information.

So we can click through to the smallest detail of the Blueprint here.

One difficulty here is that we are working over a matrix, so in this case the cells under Material are just one command that fills all the rows below.
Other rows must be addressed individually with formulas.
So a simple copy down and automatic adjustment is not possible, but it must always be looked, then is a matrix to the end and when begins another.

This is just an example of the possibilities we have. My goal was basically to replace my previous tool.
That means the prices are determined via the MarketStream, especially for the system Jita and then further processed and supplemented with information.
A problem here still seems to be that especially this important stream of the individual orders on the market does not yet dominate the Structure as a place but only the pure NPC stations.
Thus, there is no possibility to filter specifically by stations but always only by systems.

Basically come quite simple but on our desired results, but have to build a few monster formulas to then get the right result.

With this example we get the minimum selling or maximum buying price for minerals in Jita.
The formula itself looks a bit more fun:

GERMAN EXCEL VERSION:

=WENNFEHLER(MIN(WENN(EVEONLINE.MARKET_ORDERS_STREAMING(10000002;
XVERWEIS(Preis!B2.name;sd_types!C:C;sd_types!A:A;FALSCH;0;1)).transaction_type=”sell”
;WENN(EVEONLINE.MARKET_ORDERS_STREAMING(10000002;
XVERWEIS(Preis!B2.name;sd_types!C:C;sd_types!A:A;FALSCH;0;1)).system_id=Einstellungen!$B$2;
EVEONLINE.MARKET_ORDERS_STREAMING(10000002;
XVERWEIS(Preis!B2.name;sd_types!C:C;sd_types!A:A;FALSCH;0;1)).price)));0)

But once we have this we can use the blueprint above and also the information from the market.
We can therefore also actively calculate with these values. My price list basically contains all the important components that a production of T1 ships needs including their current market price.

Some taxes are also mixed in and I have an overview of what is worthwhile and what is not.
For the battleships, I also check whether the individual components perform better when built by myself than when purchased, and this is also taken into account in the overall calculation.
The only thing that I am currently missing here in information are the actual construction costs on the stations, I have not yet been able to find.

Here at the example of a Dominix.

If we have now prepared this for all ships accordingly, this will be summarized and collected on a separate table.
And to have it nice we can also build div. diagrams from it and already we have a nice and great overall view of the current market situation.

A good starting point. The next goal is to dynamically determine whether, for example, the price in Perimeter or in Jita is more worthwhile.
What is still missing is then a production and purchasing view and an inventory on the basis of which the production is planned and executed.
But everything one after the other. I think the more is built in the more powerful the whole thing.

  1. Hallo Sendriss,
