Even if one is already felt eternities in New Eden on the road, there are still things that one has not yet discovered for himself. At the moment I spend a part of my time in my Mackis and sip I rest Veldspar. There is always a little something to do.
In the process, I inevitably stumbled upon the topic of refining, that is, the conversion of ores into the more usable minerals.
In Empire I was a bit surprised that there is a relatively high loss. I had so differently in memory.
So you think about what you could do better here?
Skills? Drawn to 5?
Implant? Doesn’t bring that much.
So a Structure would be the next possible variant, but I don’t think it’s really worth it to put only one for refining. An Athanor offers even more possibilities, possibly the topic Moon Mining.
The question is of course, is it worth it? I was told that an Athanor with about 200 million a month in maintenance costs. This must be earned of course first of all and of course the structure itself is not inexpensive for one alone.
And probably afterwards you are still far away from being able to finance yourself.
So the thought is why not let others pay the maintenance and just help yourself? But it is definitely on my to-do list.
Genau an dem Punkt stand ich letztens auch. Ich hatte einen Haufen Erz in der Station liegen und bin erschrocken, wie gering die Ausbeute und wie hoch die Kosten beim Refining waren.
Also habe ich mich dran gesetzt und das Thema man genauer angeschaut. Die Ausbeute kommt klar von der Station und vielen kleinen anderen Einflüssen. So habe ich die Skills für Refining nun alle auf Level 5 und noch das Zainou ‘Beancounter’ Reprocessing RX-804 Implantat im Kopf. Jetzt sah das ganze gar nicht mehr so traurig aus. Doch die Kosten für ein paar Ladungen Orca Erze von 35 Mio waren mir dann auch zu hoch. Also habe ich mit diesem Char Disribution Missionen geflogen, bis das Standing auf 6.7 stand und siehe da, keine Kosten mehr.
Für eine eigene Station lohnt es sich bei mir nicht. Die muss auch erst mal aufgestellt und verhalten werden. Dann wird das zur Pflicht und darauf habe ich keine Lust.
Es gibt aber durchaus Spielerstationen, wo man sehr effizient und günstig refinern kann. Vielleicht lohnt es sich, dass Du dich mal umschaust.
Auf einem anderen Char, habe ich das Standing, aber muss nur noch Veldspar V skillen. Passt also mittlerweile. Nur die Refiningquote ist weiterhin Mist.
